Gavin Brink & Brink Family

Gavin Brink was a dedicated herpetologist who loved Costa Rica (CR).

He first started visiting CR in 2005 with a study abroad experience in biological field research and continued nearly every year throughout his career. He held degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Recreation & Park Administration. Gavin devoted his life to animals, specifically Snakes of Latin America (SoLA), as well as supporting wildlife education and conservation.

Sadly, Gavin passed away before Camaquiri was formed. His family joined CCI on his behalf to continue his dedication to tropical herpetology, education, and conservation of Costa Rican wildlife.
